Callaway Golf: Diablo Edge Iron
“Eastern Golf TV – BEST OF” – Game Improvement Iron for 2010
Callaway Golf: Diablo Edge Iron
Overview – Callaway Diablo Edge Iron – A Classic with Modern Appeal!
The Hogan Edge Iron Lives on!!! Many of the Eastern Golf TV Research Team played with the Hogan Edge Irons and were thrilled to with Callaway when they launched the Diablo Edge Irons. Maybe it was the fond memories as our mid to higher handicap players thoroughly enjoyed the Edge irons. Callaway design and created an extremely low center of gravity which enhanced the sweet spot thus translating into fewer misses. Kudos to Callaway for reintroducing a classic with modern appeal…
Inside the Club:
Maximized Distance A lower, deeper CG is designed to make the sweet spot more accessible at lower impact locations. This generates longer, more consistent distance and improves accuracy for more greens in regulation.
Smooth Turf Interaction The Solid Impact Sole is designed to mitigate the effects of heavy and thin shots and improve the impact location on the face for greater distance.
Enhanced Feel and Performance Callaway Golf core technologies like VFT®, S2H2®, a 360-Degree Undercut Channel and Modified Tru-Bore® work together to maximize distance, feel and playability.

Callaway Golf : Diablo Edge – Women’s
“Eastern Golf TV – BEST OF” – Game Improvement Iron for 2010
Callaway Golf: Diablo Edge Iron – Women’s
Overview – Callaway Diablo Edge Iron – A Classic with Modern Appeal!
A Super Game Improvement Club for the Female Golfer. Our team of ladies found this Diablo Edge iron with the graphite shaft especially easy to handle. Our higher handicap group felt that the club was “well balanced” and effortless to swing. While this is a subjective opinion we believe there is significant merit with their views. The Eastern Golf TV Research Team noticed the significant change away from the Big Bertha model; however, Callaway engineers embraced several key design elements such as the undercut channel.
Inside the Club:
Maximized Distance A lower, deeper CG is designed to make the sweet spot more accessible at lower impact locations. This generates longer, more consistent distance and improves accuracy for more greens in regulation.
Set Options There’s more distance through the entire bag by opting for matched hybrids in the set where women begin to struggle with their irons.

Callaway Golf: X-24
Overview – They Just Look Cool! Yet are Hot off the Face
Noticeable Buzz around this club… They just looked different than anything that’s on the market. The Eastern Golf TV Research Team wanted to see if they could wear off the Stealth PVD Finish. The Dark Physical Vapor Deposition Finish comes from a high-tech process that produces a distinctive, non-glare finish. With the PW at 45degrees and the 8 iron at 35 degrees you are certain to pick up at least ½ of club with your irons. The beauty of this club is that they have been able to lower the loft yet control launch angle by redistributing the center of gravity which renders greater distance.
Inside the Club:
VFT Face Technology- A robust, hot clubface with a large sweet spot generates faster balls speeds for maximum distance, even on off-center hits.
Eastern Golf TV Translation - The clubface has varying thickness to aid in the overall weight distribution. This is done to stabilize the club especially as you are taking a divot.
Precision Notch Weighting, More weight in the perimeter of the clubhead promotes pinpoint accuracy and control and enables an optimal CG position that provides strong trajectories.
Stealth PVD Finish Dark Physical Vapor Deposition Finish comes from a high-tech process that produces a distinctive, non-glare finish.
Callaway Core Technologies S2H2, a 360-Degree Undercut Channel and Modified Tru-Bore work together to provide total performance and enhanced feel for a wide range of golfers.

Callaway Golf: X-Forged Irons
Callaway Golf: X-Forged Irons
Overview – Tour Inspired… for the player who wants to feel their round
Callaway listened to their Tour / Master and Elite Professional Staff to design this players club. This third generation X – forged club gives the precision for the better players. While the club does give instant feedback upon contact it still delivers with the subtle cavity back design. This soft carbon steel has an increased amount of bounce and camber along with thinner topline and narrower sole. It’s the 57’ Corvette with 2010 engine! This club has all the best characteristics for the best players.
Inside the Club:
Forged 1020 Carbon Steel Construction, provides unmatched feel and performance, giving elite-level golfers incredibly soft, responsive feedback at impact as well as the ability to bend the clubs slightly.
Tour-Inspired Head Styling, this truly is one of the best looking clubs that was produced for 2010 additional bounce helped turf contact and more camber provides greater resourcefulness. The sole radius was tightened to add to the adaptability under every changing condition. The thin topline, narrow sole, shorter blade length generates maximum effectiveness while the white chrome finish mutes glare.
Flighted CG Design Provides the optimal trajectories, ball flight, and distance control that the better players demand with club progression.
Progressive Dual Notch Weighting Placing weight on the top and bottom of the cavity allows for the Flighted CG Design. By progressively adjusting the notch weighting through the set, it strategically adds more weight to shorter irons and removes weight from longer irons to produce strong, penetrating trajectories.
Eastern Golf TV Translation – This cavity fluctuates throughout the set of irons which help keeping the club weight feeling consistent thus accentuating the golfers overall feel.
